About Me
Being an author, experiential grief counselor, and a motivational speaker had not been one of her life goals before she published her first two books. These books were written purely in obedience to what she believed God asked her to do. The stories of these encounters are in the books.

He lived his life dedicated to God and service to others.
Family picture w/ Ike
As a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician she has stared at the face of human pain and suffering. Is there a purpose for pain and suffering? Why do we go through incredible heart-wrenching, painful ordeals? Why would a good God allow so much pain and suffering? After all, He is Omnipotent and Almighty God!
Totally broken and lost in the darkest pit of grief, her unwavering faith and trust in God lead to her being re-built from the inside out and she discovered life-altering truths about God that could not have been discovered any other way! Through God’s comfort and healing she walked out of the pit of grief a completely healed woman with no lingering symptoms of Grief. Yes complete healing is completely possible after the death of a child
Pain and Suffering may be undeserved but it is never purposeless!
She is the founder and CEO of WIWD Foundation, a charitable service organization formed to honor the legacy of her 18 years old son, Ikechukwu. She authored two books Losing Ike to God and How God Comforted Us and Glowing In God Through The Loss of a Child. Her passion is to help others develop a closer relationship with God through spending time in the scriptures. Recently she formed a support group ‘Glowing In Darkness’ to help grieving parents come to a place of complete healing, purposeful living, and restoration of the Joy-of-the-Lord.
What happens to us is not nearly as important as to what God does in us and through us using the tragedies of our lives if we let Him. Only Him can make our scars beautiful through investment of our pain! —Indira Onwuzurike
